Meet our Tutors
Liza Babin, Founder
Liza Babin is a television writer, educator, and writing coach with over seven years of experience helping students become stronger, more confident writers. A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied Political Science and Communications, Liza combines academic insight with real-world storytelling from her work on TV projects developed with Oscar- and Emmy-winning production companies.
Her background in theater and comedy brings energy and creativity to every session, and she’s passionate about helping students find their voice and feel confident telling their stories. When she’s not writing or tutoring, Liza can usually be found singing, performing sketch comedy, or searching for vintage gems at estate sales around Los Angeles.
Ariana McGinn
Ariana McGinn is a writer and educator with experience spanning television, academic editing, and one-on-one coaching. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied Creative Writing and Political Science, and brings both analytical precision and storytelling instinct to every session.
